GOOD PRACTICE GUIDANCE
The ‘Good Practice Guidance’ is a supplement to Homes and Communities Agency's (formally English Partnerships)
'The Brownfield Guide.' It builds on this guide’s key recommendations and focuses on planning related issues in London making reference to London Borough’s Local Development Frameworks and relevant Mayoral Strategies such as the London Plan. The ‘Good Practice Guidance’ does not just reinvent the wheel but aims to extract pratical learning from the analysis of relevant case studies around a number of Brownfield-related topics.
The guide has been developed in consultation with the projects steering group including - London Borough, Brownfield-related practitioners and government officers - to ensure it is a relevant tool within the London context. The guide is intended to be a 'living' document which will be updated as new Mayoral strategy and government policy is developed, or when new case studies come to light which further best practice knowledge around Brownfield redevelopment and reuse.
